<p><i>Discours de la méthode</i> suivi des <i>Méditations métaphysiques</i> est une œuvre philosophique majeure de René Descartes publiée initialement en 1637. Dans ce texte fondateur de la philosophie moderne Descartes expose sa méthode pour parvenir à la vérité dans les sciences et la philosophie. Il y introduit le célèbre « cogito ergo sum » (« je pense donc je suis ») comme point de départ indubitable de toute connaissance.</p> <p>Les <i>Méditations métaphysiques</i> qui suivent le <i>Discours</i> approfondissent les réflexions sur l'existence de Dieu et la distinction entre l'âme et le corps.
