Discourse Analysis and Translation

This book is about the effect of Discourse Analysis in translation. Discourse Analysis has beeen a new field of study for the last decade. Mixing up such a new field with an ancient study traced back to Ancient Greece translation can be an illuminating approach both for Linguistics and for Language Teaching. Inside the book; there is a large amount of information about discourse anaylysis and how it can contribute to foreign language teaching. There are also some classroom applications about it; and some experimental parts that can used in EFL translation classes. For further study the experimental parts can be enlarged and implemented on larger groups of foreign language learners.
