Distribution System Reliability Analysis using Distributed Generation

In this book the DGs are integrated with radial distribution networks to reduce the total active and reactive power losses and also to enhance the voltage profile and probability indices of the system. The book consists of design and modeling of the Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) in SIMULINK optimization approaches with GA and PSO used for position and capacity of DGs defined with few objective functions which are incorporated in this book.
