Charles (Karl Wilhelm August) BlumBerlin 1786;†Berlin 2nd July 1844.Blum's achievements in other areas of the arts prevented him from writing a more substantial body of works for the guitar but with the guitar as his instrument of choice the works he left behind display a high level of technical skill both in the writing and in the physical techniques they infer.
