Divide Itself

<p>The Divide Itself is Emma Carson's attempt to describe what kept her in conflict with herself; it is work toward reconciliation. It considers change as survival and what it means to name and claim our experiences.</p><p><br></p><p>Emma Carson is a poet and visual artist an amateur bicycle mechanic a member of a worker's union and an animal lover. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing & Poetics from University of Washington-Bothell.</p>
