Inspired by beauty magazines catalogs and yearbooks this collection showcases a plethora of drawings that represent the artist's unique stylized portraits. Described as naive or folk art the drawings convey raw expression unencumbered by tradition. Many drawings display elements of minimalism and realism while others invite the viewer to explore the underlying story of the artist.In 2019 the artist had a vision to draw and apply her images to book format so her work could be widely viewed. Initially the drawings were minimal but soon evolved into a more expressive style with a dreamlike overcast a Gothic uncanny or surreal aspect emerging in the later works
