Naturally I hired her on the spot. What followed was not quite what I expected.</p><p></p><p>This memoir is a collection of wonderfully chaotic absurd and unexpectedly touching moments from that chapter of life.</p><p></p><p>Alongside the true story runs a fictionalized tale within a tale inspired by real people and actual events because sometimes the only way to tell the truth is to make part of it up.</p><p></p><p>This is her story my story and the story of how we connect the dots on why certain people are brought into our lives and how life rarely goes according to plan. But sometimes that's exactly where the best stories begin.</p>
