<p>Issues about race seem to be in the news more today than at any time since the 1960s. Yet Black and White Americans are still struggling to establish a productive dialogue about race. Chances are if you show a Black and a White person the same scene involving race they will not interpret the scene the same way.</p><p>This memoir will help identify some of the reasons why Blacks and Whites often see matters involving race differently and may help lay the foundation for establishing a dialogue about race.</p><p>eorge Smith grew up in an all-Black working-class neighborhood on Chicago's Southside in the 1950s and 1960s. He went on to earn a Graduate Degree in Business and spent more than 50 years in management and executive positions in corporate America and as a college instructor.</p>
