Domestic Violence against Women in Morocco

The book reflects on the problem of domestic violence against women in Morocco. It particularly presents findings on the causes and consequences of such conjugal violence in its physical psychological economic and symbolic forms. Theoretically the study delves into the ways Moroccan popular culture reproduces supports and maintains such form of gender-based violence. On a practically level the study is based upon both quantitative and qualitative data to measure the nature and the extent of the problem.
