Don Drumm

<p>There are so many life stories that need to be told. Men and women that have shaped and molded art history. </p><p>One such as this an Ohioan rooted in the mid-west but extensively represented throughout the world.</p><p>Don Drumm needed his story to be told!</p><p>He has left an indelible mark on art. These are the feelings and comments of some avid patrons attending the annual OPEN HOUSE:</p><p>“Walking through the Gallery is food for the soul. The Drumm tree wall sculpture is magnificent you don’t see anything like this anywhere.” D.W.</p><p>“I like this Gallery because it is unique; I like the suns they make me happy. I love the horses and hope to have some one day. I like his crosses they are different not boring.” A.H.</p><p>“He is understated.” Anonymous </p><p>“Every time I come in I am overwhelmed with this Gallery. The skills that go into each one’s creations is remarkable. More people need to be aware of it. It is a HIDDEN TREASURE in Akron Ohio.” C.H.</p><p>“My family has been coming here for years. Grandparents aunts uncles and on and on. I prefer to leave the ornaments out all year round. They have a lot of meaning behind each ornament. I love the Madonna and child they are so peaceful.” S.D.</p><p>Dr. Sam Ghoubrial an internal medicine physician in Wadsworth Ohio has become a real connoisseur of the Don Drumm mystique. In 2011 Dr. Ghoubrial was in the process of decorating his new office and discovered the Don Drumm and Gallery.</p><p>Dr. Ghoubrial: “You cannot just have one it’s like eating a potato chip. One piece leads to another. The artistic flair is so appealing and once you start styling with Don Drumm you can’t stop. You have to stay consistent with the contemporary art which he is a master.”</p><p>“Don Drumm is a neoclassic contemporary artist that has forged a niche in this area and created unique pieces that have not been seen before. So I would say his art though contemporary has a hint of classic. If you look at his pieces they are not perfect in form or detail but they are in fact almost a primitive story.”</p><p>Dr. Ghoubrial’s Office Manager Sue Smith added “Once you cast yourself under Don Drumm you cannot stay away.”</p><p>Dr. Ghoubrial feels Don Drumm is an intricate part of his practice. “The Don Drumm sculptures represent the warmth of our practice overflowing over our staff and patients as we care for them.”</p>
