This story follows my desire of playing soccer to becoming the #1 Girls High School Soccer Point and Goal Scorer in Michigan. </p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify>My journey just like anyone else's has not been without doubters and challenging moments but I navigated through discrimination poor performance and injuries. Many people thought I couldn't compete with the best of them because I was petite thin African American and a girl but I had to let them know you can never judge a book by its cover or ever count me out.</p><p><br></p>
