<p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>One could say it was a year of pure hell but that would be a selfish view as plenty of families have been affected by the unexpected death of a loved one. But what made the death of the author's husband Drew unique was that it exposed a non-survivable risk present on U.S. military based in Japan. A risk that ultimately caused his death and has led to other fatalities as well as near-fatal outcomes. This risk needs to be acknowledged and addressed.
