Dools Pursuits and Jots : A Scribbling through Haiku

You were almost like a haiku: said so little but meant so much.― Abraham Algahanem Doolspursuits and jots-A Scribbling through Haiku emerged out ofmy experimental sense to venture on an altogether different patternof Poetry which i have not studied academically much or written forlong. The journey began with the efforts to know more on its structure conventions and traditions. I came across the idea that itis possible to drift away from the traditional structure of Haikufive-seven-five syllable pattern to one we are convenient of. Alongwith that came a new sense on the themes to be used for. Haikususually celebrated the themes of Nature love and beauty. A drasticchange in the theme selection was also made which resulted in thiscollection that i adore the most. Haiku is love. It is a tiny expressionof things and emotions. We may read them in a single stretch. Butsurprisingly with that small construct it do make us think along thelines. A great Gratitude to the knowledge of Haiku from one of myFriend Priyanka Ram.
