About The Book

In this book Dr Booth seeks to assist potential followers of Jesus who might be deterred by a scepticism about the supernatural elements such as the Virgin Birth and the Resurrection. The author believes that Jesus was not God but was inspired by God to reveal Gods will for Man and how Man should behave. This belief controls his interpretation of Gods communication with Man and many of the Gospel stories such as the healings and the transfiguration. The relationship of Free Christianity to Unitarianism and other divisions within the Christian Church and to Islam is also explored. Roger Booth is a retired solicitor who also taught law at the University of Buckingham. His degrees in theology are from Kings College London and his degree in law is from Leeds University. He was also formerly minister at The Chapel in the Garden Bridport Dorset England.
