Dr. B. R. Ambedkar born on 14 April 1891 in Mhow was the Father of the Indian Constitution and India's first Law Minister. Born into a Dalit family he faced discrimination but rose through education earning degrees from Columbia and LSE. He led the Constitution Drafting Committee promoted equality and founded the Bahishkrit Hitkarini Sabha. Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated as Equality Day in India and abroad honoring his ideals of Liberty Equality and Fraternity.
