<p>When your dragon can't breathe fire you have to work extra hard to prove yourself.</p><p><br></p><p>Hatching Day has come and gone and the festivities are over. Will's greatest hope was achieved when his egg hatched and he bonded with a dragon. But to everyone's shock the hatchling that emerged is different. Vortex is white!</p><p>The dragon riders are convinced that Vortex is a pale shade of a usual color but when Will's dragon can't produce so much as a spark of fire they start to suspect something is wrong with him.</p><p>With the coming Dragon Games Will finally has a chance to prove his dragon's worth and buy his parent's freedom. But a greater danger than he imagines awaits them; a threat that all dragons no matter how different must band together to fight. If they fail they could lose everything.</p>
