Dragonworld and the Rising Star

The Rising Star is the second book in the acclaimed Dragonworld series. In this story Dillon Brown is a shy boy living with his impoverished grandfather. He discovers a way out of their poverty by entering a children's talent contest as winning the prize money would help cover the cost of repairs needed on their dilapidated home.
