Dromomaniacs

Dromomania is an uncontrollable psychological urge to wander a disease that four friends found that they shared in common. Three septuagenarians joined an older man and despite caution from all their doctors they ate their way around the spectacularly beautiful San Juan Island during the COVID-19 pandemic. Walks and whale boating abetted touring sculpture gardens and museums. Learning about the ecological disasters inflicted on this and neighboring islands for a century before wiser souls mercifully stepped in they marveled at both today's sage perspective and the ills of an earlier era.
