<p>This story features a hedgehog family that came&nbsp;to the USA as pets. Hedgehogs do not live in the wild in USA.</p><p>When the hedgedogs were mistreated and turned loose in a garden they had to learn how to fend for themselves. As they are&nbsp;different from the other animals and they have prickles on their backs the other animals were scared of them.</p><p>No-one went near them or bothered to find out if they needed help. They were alone when baby&nbsp;Herman was scooped up and carried away by a crow. Fortunately Herman was dropped by the crow and he fell into the Koi fish pond.</p><p>He was&nbsp;rescued and cared for by the Droogledots who then set out to find his family. This story has a very happy ending. It demonstrates that it&#39;s OK to be different and how working together can produce amazing results.</p><p>Each page has a colorful illustration to assist young readers&nbsp; understand the story.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
