DRUG ABUSE AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN IRINGA MUNICIPALITY

Drug abuse among youth including university students is a serious problem which currently faced all over the word. Youth especially those come from poor family are at higher risk of interring to the persisting problem. African countries including Tanzania is one among the country whereby the problem is seemed to grow rapidly despite the intervention made by the government and other agencies to mitigate the persisting problem. While the Tanzania government is in the front line to deal with the persisting problem still the community members were not aware of the extent forms causes effects and remedial measures for reducing the drug abuse problem in Tanzania. Likewise there are few and currently studies which keep clear the forms causes effects and remedial measures to deal with drug abuse problem among university students in Tanzania.
