Duke Stories: Vacation Lake

When kids are in trouble Duke saves the day! This mysteriously large and magical black Labrador seems to always appear right when children need him the most! Then he suddenly disappears after bringing them to safety. At Vacation Lake when two young kids realize they are in trouble on the water Duke is there in a flash to save them! This moral story teaches children to do the right thing while conveying the message that even though we make mistakes we can still be saved. It has a fun and lighthearted tone that draws on childrens natural abilities to use their imagination and creativity. It empowers children by teaching them simple lessons they can use in everyday life. These stories are based on bedtimes stories told to the author as a child by her father.
