Dumb Luck

Owen Miller isn’t one for small talk. He’s quiet and bookish, single and pushing thirty, lives alone in a nondescript Peoria apartment, and his mundane life is only magnified by the work he does as a travel agent. Feeling stifled by it all, he decides to plan a trip for himself, choosing Vegas as much for the incredulous looks of his friends and co-workers as anything. Owen thinks it’s the perfect destination for someone looking for a fun escape, and it might even be good for his writing. But he has no way of knowing something very dark is lurking there, something inescapable.
