<p>Adapted from the mural The Jataka Tale of the Nine-Colored Deer in Cave 257 of the Mogao Grottoes dating to the Northern Wei Dynasty.</p><p>根据莫高窟北魏第257窟壁画《九色鹿本生故事全图》改编。</p><p></p><p>This book recounts the tale of the Nine-Colored Deer one of the most beautiful and beloved figures in Eastern lore. It presents a timeless fable in which the deer risks its life to save a drowning man only to be betrayed by him. Through this story children are guided to recognize the stark contrast between beauty and ugliness kindness and malice within human nature.</p><p>讲述了东方文化中最美的一只鹿--九色鹿。通过九色鹿不顾生命危险搭救溺水之人，却被溺水之人背叛、出卖的故事，让孩子感知人性的美与丑、善与恶。</p><p></p><p>This is a book about integrity.
