An Illusion is like a mirage. Truth is hidden in the veil of Maya. There is no water only the appearance of water. The closer one tries to get closer to the water the farther away the appearance of water goes. The knowledge of truth is not at all by approaching the truth but by changing the attitude. There is no such thing as Maya but it does exist. If there is illusion of desire then there is solution too. The important thing is that which event can remove the web of confusion lying in the mind of a person. The question was how to remove the illusion that clouded the mind of Kritverma and Kripacharya?
