Dust and Clay: A Jamaican Story

About The Author: This is a first novel for Caline Derota Bourne-Carter who was born in Jamaica West Indies. She immigrated to Canada in 1972 and in 1978 was accepted in a pre-university program at the University of Toronto. She later enrolled in an undergraduate program in Sociology and English and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. While she has always felt writing to be her calling she has spent most of her working life pursuing different avenues of employment and study. She received a certification in property management from Humber College and continues to work in the field of social housing community development and facility management. She resides in Ontario Canada.
