The great Indian bustard Ardeotis nigriceps popularly known as the majestic bird of grass lands.It is an endemic species of the Indian subcontinent .Historically this bird has large range in the Indian subcontinent and Pakistan but know this bird is seen in only 6 states of India and few parts of Pakistan facing the extinction. Currently not more than 300 birds left in the world.Iam living in a district of Andhra PradeshIndia called Kurnool which got its fame at the International level because of Great Indian Bustard( one of the cause) Rollapadu WLS is present in kurnool diatrict where the bird number is around 35 in 1984 now ir is rarely seen .
