About The Book

This book is essential for reading by corporate leaders Information Systems (IS) researchers policy makers and anybody interested on the role of Information Technology (IT) Capabilities on Organisational Performance in technologically disruptive industry. One of the major criticisms of the Dynamic Capabilities (DC) in the existing IS literature is their difficulty in both concept and measurement. There is almost complete absence of what actually constitutes Dynamic Information Technology Capabilities (DITC) constructs and the mechanism these constructs relate to organizational performance. To contribute I first demarcates what considered to be DITC constructs and tested the usability of their theoretical argument. After years of repeated empirical studies in the financial service industry my findings reveals that IT knowledge creation IT management capabilities IT personnel expertise and IT infrastructure flexibility can complement absorptive adaptive and innovative capabilities of DC theory in a highly technological disruptive industry.
