Dysprosium Metal Complexes Derived from Bridging Oxygen Donor Ligands

Novel metal complexes are developing rapidly. Fascinating and aesthetics structured ligands are used for the preparation of metal complexes. Complexes found its various applications in food petrochemical industry rubber industry pharmaceutical environmental and in medicines industry. They have anticancer and antibacterial properties. The present study aimed to investigate the structure and antibacterial activity of Dysprosium complexes with oxygen donor ligands. The characterization results obtained and antibacterial screening deduce that the prepared complexes have antibacterial activity against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria.
