E-Waste Management

Electronic waste or e-waste refers to any electronic devices that are of no use to the primary consumer anymore either in a broken or unwanted state. Following the observation of rapid increase in consumption rate of electrical and electronic devices the study assess e-waste management in Ikeja Local Government area of Lagos. The study analyzes the socioeconomic characteristics of the respondents Incidence and spatial variation of e-waste and the method of disposal and management of e-waste. This is with a view to suggesting appropriate strategies on efficient management of e-waste in Ikeja Computer Village.
