Eastern European diasporas in Eastern Kazakhstan

The purpose of this work is to reconstruct the historical picture of the formation and development of Eastern European diasporas in Eastern Kazakhstan in the 19th and early 21st centuries. This goal is being achieved in stages: studying the stages of formation of the German and Polish diasporas in Eastern Kazakhstan; revealing the causes and main flows of German and Polish migration; examining the role of Eastern European diasporas in the socio-political economic and cultural life of diasporas in the region; revealing the role of Eastern European diasporas in the modern life of the region by analyzing the activities of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and national cultural centers in Eastern Kazakhstan in ensuring civil stability and ethnic harmony.
