Bev Tappan is an ordinary woman who through tragedy heartbreak and illness gathers the courage to leave a comfortable home and a good career in Alabama in order to find a new life in California--one filled with travel adventure and yes true love. Determined to follow her dream to sail to the South Pacific she buys a sailboat and moves aboard. She doesnt know who is following her or why hed want to hurt her but the menacing sailor in the sleek black-hulled Raven seems to always be just a harbor or two behind her.
