<p>When I stumbled into that hidden chamber I was expecting dust old rocks and maybe a historical trinket or two-not a glowing artifact that branded my wrist like I'd signed up for some cosmic game without reading the fine print. Now I've got this strange mark a cryptic connection to an ancient power and a growing list of enemies who seem to think I'm the key to their next big conquest. Lucky me right? To top it off my so-called partner Gabriel has his own skeletons rattling in the closet and let's just say they might come back to bite us. Hard. Enter Amara a woman who knows more than she's letting on and who might just help-if I can figure out what she's playing at before it's too late. The mark has chosen me for reasons I don't understand and controlling its power might be the only way to survive.
