Ecological Studies on Termite Fauna of Kalaburagi.

This book is an outcome of a small research conducted by the author in association with the co-authors and thought of publishing the same in the form of a book as it had the important components which may help the learners and the researchers to proceed further in the aspects of social insects research as well as biological environmental and biochemical aspects of research. The taxonomic identification and physio-chemical studies prepared by the collectors by identifying the important termite species which could have some damaging effect on the commercial sector and their importance in the increase of soil nutrient and quality by soil modification / humification process. There is little information available on termite species in semi-arid land of Kalaburagi. We reviewed termite species and information on their distribution in Gulbarga University campus.
