The quality of seedlings is one of the most important factors in establishing forest stands. Producing seedlings of both quantity and quality to meet the demands of the forestry sector is a challenge. This is why there is a growing search for innovations in the production process that reduce production costs as well as obtaining quality seedlings. An important factor influencing seedling production is the container. The aim of this study was to compare the production of Eucalyptus grandis x E. urophylla clonal seedlings in polyethylene and biodegradable containers in order to determine which system is more efficient and economically viable.
