Economic Thoughts of the Tathagata Buddha

<p>The time of Buddha is 6th century BC. From the point of view of Indian history it was the era of 'Samyak Kranti'. Gautama Buddha's humanistic thinking brought about a fundamental change in the society of that time. The Buddha's Dhamma contains practical and social philosophy. Buddha was the first pioneer of democracy who preached the welfare message of 'Bahujan Hitaya- Bahujan Sukhaya'. During the Buddhist period Indian society was economically dependent on agriculture animal husbandry trade and art. It discusses in detail all the economic aspects of what the Buddha has said.</p>
