Wild lavender is a Caatinga species with great potential for exploitation especially because of its aromatic and medicinal properties. Its cultivation in semi-arid regions such as the Brazilian Northeast suffers from environmental adversities such as water scarcity which drives the use of low-quality water with high salt levels which can compromise plant development. Thus this book deals with the use of a phytohormone to mitigate the effects of salt stress on the ecophysiology of the species showing results of the effects from germination to physiological parameters.
