“Education in the Doldrums” is a phrase that can refer to several situations that have negatively impacted education.Teacher education needs to be fundamentally reformed to prepare teachers who are fully competent to engage with the children to achieve the broader aims of education.School is a place where we need to remove the concept of caste and promote constitutional values of equity and socialism.Education is deeply connected to people’s lives.Even the current system of medical education is flawed and discourages young minds.All these issues have been covered under 6 chapters of the book.
