EDUCATIONAL DISPARITY AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

The role of education in the process of overall human development is indispensable. Therefore universal primary education presumes that all children irrespective of caste class and region would complete primary education with equality and quality within the stipulated time frame. However several disparities embedded in the social and educational system deprives children to fully participate in the process. Against this backdrop the present book explores educational development and disparities in India in terms of spatial gender social and regional at the block level.
