Effect of allelopathic solutions from medicinal and ornamental plants

About The Book

This study addresses the allelopathic potential of aqueous solutions of Plectranthus barbatus Andrews and Dieffenbachia picta Schott on the physiological quality of seeds of the invasive plant Bidens pilosa L. The action of the solutions led to the control in the laboratory of the germination and germination rate index of the invasive plant's seeds. It can therefore be concluded that the solutions used have great allelopathic potential.
