About The Book

A pot experiment was conducted at Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science College of Agriculture Junagadh during summer season of 2016 to evaluate soil application of boron and molybdenum and its effect on growth parameters yield attributes yield nutrient content uptake and quality parameters of summer groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) and post-harvest soil fertility. The experiment comprising of five levels of boron viz. 0 2 4 8 and 10 kg B ha-1 and three levels of molybdenum viz. 0 1 2 kg Mo ha-1 and experiment was laid out in Factorial Completely Randomization Design and replicated thrice. The results revealed that obtaining significantly higher pod and haulm yield growth parameters yield attributes and quality parameters content & uptake of nutrients and available nutrients in soil after harvest of groundnut crop (Summer Variety GJG-31) was fertilizing with boron 8 kg ha-1 and/along with molybdenum 1 kg ha-1 in medium black calcareous soils of South Saurashtra region of Gujarat.
