Effect of Learner Communicative Competence on Classroom Interaction

The author is a trained teacher of English and Literature(Kenyatta University1994-98)with fourteen years of teaching experience in various secondary schools in Kenya. His passion for effective teaching of English Language spurred his pursuit for a Master of Philosophy (Mphil)in Language Education at Moi University Kenya (2007-2010). It is from his Masters thesis entitled ''An Investigation into the Effect of Learner Communicative Competence on Interaction in the Language Classroom'' that this book is derived.The book will be found useful by state departments of Education language educatorsteachers and students in schools and colleges. The author is a Doctor of Philosophy (Dphil)student in Language Education at Moi University Kenya. currently the author works as an Administrator with the County Government of Kakamega kenya.
