Effect of Sowing Date on Wheat Yield Under Conventional Tillage

On the growing scenario of food insecurity climate change and population growth wheat occupies the major portion of world food production and study and research on wheat directly influence the food security of world as a whole. Being one of the leading cereal its appropriate sowing time for different varieties is pre-requisite for its higher productivity. In country like Nepal where food security is major issue increased food production is boon which can be enhanced by optimum planting time varieties and proper tillage management.
