The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of training and development on the performance of employees of the Parliamentary Service of Ghana. It was a descriptive design. The study used stratified random sampling and obtained 264 respondents made up of both senior and junior staff of the Parliamentary Service of Ghana. These 264 respondents were made up of 90 senior staff and 174 junior staff. The questionnaire was the instrument used in collecting data. Prior to administering the instrument the questionnaire was tested which produced a Cronbach alpha reliability co-efficient of 0.761. The data was analysed using both descriptive and inferential statistics and the results were summarised in Tables.
