School governance is not static. It depends on ever-changing political administrative economic and social situations. Therefore any reform or study within this framework requires a new approach to school management. Depending on the practices of the actors involved things can either improve or deteriorate. On this basis this research Effective School Management Practices was undertaken with the aim of seeing how on the one hand to improve school management practices to analyze the administrative (e.g. principals'' skills management of educational services etc.) and pedagogical (e.g. curriculum planning and coordination teacher training and subject knowledge school culture etc.) factors influencing school effectiveness; and on the other hand to understand the business aspects. The analysis of the data and our participant observation experiences allowed us to verify the hypotheses and make recommendations to school managers. To this end a document analysis grid was developed for data collection and processing.
