Effects of coronavirus infection on the nervous system of pregnant women

Worldwide due to altered immunological reactivity pregnant women represent a risk group during outbreaks of any infectious disease especially in the presence of chronic extragenital pathology or a complicated course of pregnancy. To date recommendations for the management of pregnant women with COVID-19 affecting nervous systems have a low level of evidence. The study of neurological and depressive disorders and their association with COVID-19 in pregnant women is a current problem in obstetrics and neurology.
