This study examined the impact of organizational politics on employee job commitment and satisfaction. The objectives of the study were to Determine if workplace politics have influence on employees’ job satisfaction and examine the relationship between organisational culture and employees’ job commitment. A descriptive research design was adopted for this study two hypotheses were tested and 172 questionnaires were distributed of which 150 was returned while the statistical tool used in testing hypothesis is Pearson product moment correlation method. The findings of the study revealed that there was a positive significant relationship between organizational politics and employee job satisfaction and job commitment. The implication of this significance is that employees tend to be satisfied and committed to their jobs when they are able to play along successfully with the prevailing organizational politics in the organization. Based on the results obtained from the study it was recommended among others that employees should endeavour to understand and respond strategically to the general political behavior in their organizations to maximize their job satisfaction.
