In fact the variability of compounds in crude extract of plants poses a challenge to fish and exhibit activity for selected cellular targets for specific diseases of interest. This Special Issue focuses on medicinal plants and explores the potential effect of extracts and/or its compounds sourced from medicinal plants in specific experimental models of diseases. This SI summarizes the updated data related to plant extracts and in some cases highlighted major compounds characterized from a specific extract/plant in different disease models including in cell-line prostate cancer and C57BL/6 mouse prostate rheumatoid arthritis respiratory diseases hyperuricemia hearing loss influenza A thrombose and diabetes.
