Efficacy of serum CRP & WBC level as monitoring tools

This prospective study designed to evaluate the to assess efficacy of serum C-reactive protein & WBC level as monitoring tools for patients with fascial space infections of odontogenic origin. It was conducted on 25 patients reporting to Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at PDM Dental College and Research Institute Bahadurgarh for management of fascial space infection of odontogenic origin. All patients meeting the inclusion criteria and none of the exclusion criteria were enrolled in the study after taking their voluntary informed consent.
