EFL Writing Traits

There is little doubt that writing is one of the most challenging skills both in L1 and L2 settings. Understandably writing especially in an L2 context involves a degree of apprehension. Still writing apprehension varies from person to person partly due to personality factors like motivation attitude feelings of self-efficacy and so on. This book discusses writing related traits like writing self-efficacy and writing apprehension in relation to personal traits like extroversion/introversion attitudes motivation etc. Apart from a relatively rich literature review it also contains the results of an empirical investigation of the topic followed by the discussion of the results and the implications that the findings can have for researchers and practitioners.So this book may prove useful for language learners teachers researchers and materials developers.
