Eight Years and a Day

<p>It is often said that porn is a billion-dollar industry. Into this world of pornography author Dale Stivers descended as a teenager. Feeling insecure because of his weight and feeling rejected by the other kids especially the girls he learned to substitute pornography for reality. Even though he was raised in a Christian home Satan used this tool to drive him away from God and ultimately from reality.</p><p> </p><p>At forty-three years of age Dale kidnapped and attempted to rape an eighteen-year-old girl. She was a fighter attacking her assailant so aggressively that he gave up after slashing her arm with his knife. Hoping to avoid arrest he took her home rather than to a hospital to seek medical attention.
